After several years in the concrete forming and finishing business, Andy Ethridge founded Heard County Concrete in October 1994. The company has steadily grown, adding more trucks, equipment, and staff…
Due to the expansion of Highway 27, Heard County Concrete was forced to relocate. However, this setback proved to be a great opportunity for growth as Heard County Concrete built all new facilities and added a 10-yard batch plant.
Randolph County Concrete
Heard County Concrete expanded into an additional 2nd location in Wedowee, Alabama known as Randolph County Concrete. This location included a brand new 10-yard batch plant and multiple trucks to keep up with the growing demand in the east Alabama area.
Both Heard and Randolph county locations were converted to computer controlled batching systems.
A beautiful new corporate office was built on Highway 27 in Roopville, Georgia to serve both the Heard and Randolph county plants.
Troup County Ready Mix
Troup County Ready Mix was added to the Heard County Concrete family. This new location was a great opportunity to further expand the business and service the Troup county area.
